My husband and I just returned from 4 nights at The Bahamia and I wanted to give a quick report.
Yes, the resort is in numerous stages of construction but our rooms at the Country Club were newly renovated and very adequate for the price. The staff was very efficient and friendly. Johnny B's was by far the best thing about the hotel, open every night we were there, even live entertainment/DJ a couple nights. I suggest happy hour 4:30 to 6, 2 for 1 drinks.
We visited Our Lucaya and had lunch at the Prop Club, very relaxing. We also hit The Prop club for dancing Sat. night and had a great time. Pier one's atmosphere and shark feeding was worth the taxi ride but the food was so-so for the price. Club Caribe was an excellent experience, very friendly, good food, awesome beach.
All and all a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Taxi's were the only iffy thing, very costly and not always on the up and up. I want to thank you for all of your recommendations. I didn't write in w/any questions but I reviewed your responses to others and used your advice. My Johnny B bartender was very impressed with my itinerary. You guys are the greatest.
